Tiny Tigers NJ · 501(c)(3) Cat Rescue

We fight for every cat we can help.

The abused, the abandoned, the overlooked. Tiny Tigers NJ is a volunteer, foster-based rescue. No shelter walls, no kill list, no cat left behind because it was inconvenient.

Waiting for a Home

Adoptable cats

Every cat below is vetted, vaccinated, and living with a foster family who can tell you exactly who they are.

On the live site, this grid updates automatically from Sparkie, our rescue management platform, so it is never out of date

How to Adopt

Four steps to a tiny tiger

We are thorough because these cats have already been failed once. But we make it easy to do right by them.

I.

Apply Online

Fill out our adoption application. It takes about ten minutes and goes straight to the foster who knows the cat best.

II.

Meet & Greet

Visit the cat in their foster home, where they act like themselves, not like a stressed shelter cat behind glass.

III.

Home Check

A quick, friendly video walkthrough. We are looking for window screens and radiator gaps, not judging your dishes.

IV.

Gotcha Day

Sign the adoption contract, cover the adoption fee, and take home a vetted, vaccinated, microchipped best friend.

Foster

The rescue runs on spare bedrooms.

We have no building. Every Tiny Tiger lives with a foster family from rescue day to adoption day. We cover all supplies and every vet bill; you cover the couch space and the affection.

Two weeks for a bottle baby or two months for a shy senior. Every foster home we add is another cat we can say yes to.

Who Keeps the Lights On

The rescue's biggest donor is a real estate agent.

Tiny Tigers NJ was founded by Keri Kutansky, and part of every real estate closing she handles funds this rescue. Buying or selling in NYC? Your deal can feed cats too.
